After 40 years, I still remember the scent as we got off the school bus on Arbor Day holding our pine sprigs. They were dutifully planted in the yard. When we moved from PA to CT, my brother transplanted his sapling to our new home. He did so again a few years later when we moved to the next town over. Patricks Tree still stands over 75 feet high in the front yard of our old house. Thanks!
