Gregory and me
(and some bees)
dance around the thundercloud tree
to celebrate its life and leaves,
its cooling shade, its flowering spree.
For it's Arbor Day
and so we sing
this birthday song
we hope will bring
all the bees that never sting,
sunshine and rain,
and all good things.
Plum fills our sky with purple leaves,
sweet purple pie for buzzing bees
who blissfully fly upon the breeze
Loving as much Greg's little tree
as little he.
HAPPY ARBOR DAY EVERYONE!

That is a beautiful song, but just because arbor day is over doesn't mean that loving trees is over. Arbor day is everyday, whether you plant a tree or remove a dead tree. Trees will live and trees will die, but arborday will live forever. _________________ For Hire in Omaha Area, Terry Enterprises Lawn & Landscape. Thanks, Terri!
We planted our plum on Arbor Day in 2001, so every year on Arbor Day, we give our tree a birthday party!
(And we were out there yesterday singing our Arbor Day song again, so I guess it doesn't have to be Arbor Day to sing it.)
Cheers!
