Last year, my friends Dan Walton and Mark Nestor held a belated Arbor Day party to raise awareness about the day. We had over 50 people show up and have a good time.
Already people are asking us about Arbor Day 2005. This year, we plan to hand out trees as party favors. We hope that this event continues to grow in magnitude and noteriety. If there are any Cleveland area residents who would like to celebrate the day with us, please contact me at credd_at_sign_hawken_period_edu. We prefer to belate the celebration so to not step on any other celebrations but no firm date has yet been planned. If interested, you can contact me. Happy New Year.
